In Konohagakure, an unusual amount of pearly, white clouds were hanging over the city, as they were constantly buffed by frosty winds to the north. Snowflakes in complex shapes drifted from the covered sky to the buildings and streets below, forming large piles of glinting snow.  Trees had sensed the incoming touch of the cold and beforehand they had shed any remaining leaves. However, the entrance to the gate was supposed to be guarded by six of those highly trained shinobi, and yet only one was standing!
